Community Support
Manos Unidas is committed to fostering healing, empowerment, and resilience within our community through a holistic approach that addresses both individual and systemic needs.

Spiritual Healing & Uplifting Classes
We offer faith-based healing and empowerment classes exclusively for victims and survivors, led by compassionate local pastors who provide spiritual guidance
and emotional support.

Physical Wellness Events
In partnership with local fitness instructors, we host community wellness events designed to promote physical health, emotional healing, and social connection.

Counseling & Behavioral Health Services
Through our partnership with Maverick County Hospital District Behavioral Services, we provide counseling and mental health support for victims, survivors, and families affected by domestic violence.

Partnership with Law Enforcement
We maintain a strong partnership with the Eagle Pass Police Department, specifically the Special Victims Crime Unit, to enhance safety and coordination of services.

Please note: We do not require or pressure anyone to file a police report. We respect each individual’s choice and provide support at every step of their journey.

Advocacy & Policy Change
Through collaboration with city officials and partners, we’re strengthening protections for survivors of domestic violence. A new ordinance effective October 1, 2025, marks a major step toward safety, equity, and justice in Eagle Pass and Maverick County.
